The Haifa Hi-Tech Acceleration Center was founded following joint decisions carried out by the Israeli Government and the Haifa Municipality in order to strengthen and reinforce the city of Haifa together with expanding its employment possibilities and emphasizing technologically oriented development. The aid's plan is based on support provided by the Chief Scientist according to CEO's order 8.12.

In The Haifa Hi-Tech Acceleration Center entrepreneurs and small companies are given an opportunity to develop their technologies and prototypes to the commercialization stage in a comfortable environment and attractive conditions.

The Haifa Hi-Tech Acceleration Center strives to execute a swift compatibility and acceptance procedure to enable entrepreneurs to share its vision and become integrated within the center as soon as possible.

Benefits Plan for an Eligible Entrepreneur:

• Receipt of an investment in the amount of NIS1,000,000 which consists of 50% of the entrepreneur's overall biennial budget
• Offices rent free in the renovated Hi-Center office building for the period of two years
• Professional assistance in exposing the entrepreneur to relevant potential investors
• Business assistance from the center's management

The Main Terms and Conditions to which an Eligible Entrepreneur is Committed to:

• Introduction of supplemental financing resources to the budget provided by Hi-Center
• 5% of the entrepreneur's stocks' capital will be handed over to Hi-Center upon its joining the center
• A guarantee to continue the entrepreneur's activities in Haifa's geographical vicinity for the period of 5 years from commencement of operation in the center
• Participation in monthly overhead
